All current students are eligible. Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise must connect to the internet once every 30 days to verify that you are still eligible for the free software. When you stop taking classes at George Mason University, your Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise subscription will end. At that time you can purchase Microsoft Office at a retail store.


The UTEP license allows faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students to install the latest version of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote) and its related components (Publisher, Skype for Business) on up to 5 personal computers or Macs, and on Android, iPad, and Windows mobile devices. Office 365 includes OneDrive for Business which provides all UTEP users with unlimited storage.


Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus is available free of charge to students registered for at least one credit in the current term at the University of Minnesota, and to Faculty and Staff currently employed by the University. Yes, this is the latest version of Office 365 ProPlus with complete functionality. You can install Office 365 ProPlus directly to your device without having to connect to the Internet for access. However, students must connect to the Internet at least once every 30 days to for an automatic check of their license eligibility.

Staff and faculty who use their NetID@usc.edu as their primary computer and network account can also use this account to activate their Office Suite applications. Staff and faculty from USC units that use a different account as their primary computer and network account (e.g., med.usc.edu, law.usc.edu, marshall.usc.edu, etc.) should reference instructions about accessing and activating the Office Suite applications software from their local IT group.

To register, students need to create a Microsoft Office 365 Education account (@PersonalMicrosoftSoftware.ucla.edu) which will be part of the username for the account and does not have a fully functioning email address associated with it. Beyond the initial allocation of $20 all students are able to add funds to their print account via the Card Services website. Funds added this way do carry over each semester, these additional funds you add yourself are not removed at the end of each semester like the initial print allocation amount.
